Ninja CrushBOSS is a four-vessel kitchen system built on a single 1850-watt motor base. A countertop blender that pairs sensor-driven power control with a stripped-back form. The intelligence sits under the surface, not on the control panel.
Goal
The brief set three pillars: professional, powerful, intelligent. Working within Ninja's visual brand language, I iterated through multiple concepts with the cross-functional team to land a form that read premium without adding visual complexity. Handle ergonomics on the pitcher and food processor bowl were a focus of their own — I researched and tested grip geometry until both vessels felt secure to lift and pour when full.
Outcome
The CrushBOSS is the first Ninja blender with a TFT display, and the most intelligent system the brand has shipped. SmoothSense reads ingredient resistance and adjusts power as it blends, so consistency no longer depends on the user's judgment. The screen and a single dial replace the button array these systems usually carry, and the handle geometry carried through to production on both the pitcher and the processor bowl.
