How can we eliminate the pile of dishes and bowls in the dish rack?
Salve is a horizontal dish rack that is suitable for small kitchen space and holds variety of dishes and bowls.
Research
After looking through variety of kitchens, I found three common problems which are dish rack, pots and pans on the stove, and objects on the refrigerator.

Main Problem
The main problem in the kitchen area is the dish rack. After washing the dishes, it’s hard to stack the dishes in the dish rack because of a variety of shapes and volumes.

Ideation
The initial concept of this idea was holding plates, bowls, and cups with stands that can be folded 90 degrees. The concept developed further as a vertical dish rack.
Stands
studied how the stands would like with certain materials such as wood, plastics, wire, and metal.
Development
Dish rack Frame
Changed the orientation from vertical to horizontal. Started with a model of how it can potentially look like and 1:1 scale MDF model to see the scale and proportion.
